Coach — thanks for telling us a bit about your program. I recorded a short video to show you what we're building and how it helps your recruiting.

What Next Mile Recruiting Does for Coaches
We work with distance running families — parents and athletes — and guide them through the college recruiting process. By the time a family reaches out to your program through us, they've already done the work most recruits skip:
- They know where they fit athletically — across D1, D2, D3, and NAIA
- They understand the financial picture and aren't leading with scholarship expectations
- They've researched your program specifically — your coaching, your conference, your culture
- Their first email to you will be personalized, not a mass resume blast
- They follow up consistently because we've taught them why that matters
The bottom line: Recruits who come through Next Mile Recruiting are the ones who actually want to be at your program — and know enough about the process to communicate that clearly.
What We're Building
We've built a performance standards database covering over 1,500 programs with real recruiting data — not the guesstimates families find on Reddit and LetsRun. We pair that with a communication framework that teaches families how to reach out to coaches the right way, maintain the relationship, and handle the conversations that matter.
We're also building program profiles that give families an honest look at what each school offers — coaching, conference competitiveness, cost of attendance, roster composition, and development track record. The goal is to match families with programs where their athlete will actually thrive.
How This Helps You
You spend less time sorting through mass emails from athletes who don't know your program exists. You spend more time talking to recruits who've done the homework, understand the process, and are genuinely interested in what you're building.
We're not an agent. We don't negotiate on behalf of families. We educate them so the conversation with you is productive from the first email.
