How Georgia State Track Qualification Works
Georgia has seven classifications for state track under the GHSA’s 2024–26 alignment (6A — the largest schools — through A-DII for the smallest, with 7A retired in the most recent realignment). The state meet is held over multiple weekends each May, split across host venues.
Athletes qualify through their region meet → sectional → state. GHSA region meets feed into one of two sectionals per classification, with the top finishers from each sectional advancing to state.
GHSA publishes a per-academic-year “Results & Records” compiled PDF that contains the state track meet results for that year, plus a live results landing page for the most recent meet. Below: every state meet, 2022–2025.

Georgia’s most recent meet is published as a live HTML page on ghsa.net; prior years are compiled into the per-academic-year Results & Records PDF.
