How Pennsylvania State Track Qualification Works
Pennsylvania has two classifications for state track — AA (smaller schools) and AAA (larger schools) — governed by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA). The state meet is held at Shippensburg University’s Seth Grove Stadium each May.
Athletes qualify for state through their district meet → state. PIAA has 12 districts; each runs its own qualifying meet, and the top finishers in each event advance to the state meet. Boys and girls compete on the same weekend, with results published in a single per-classification document.
PIAA archives state meet results going back to the 1970s. Below: every state meet, 2022–2025, both classifications.

PIAA publishes per-classification results documents (boys + girls combined) for each year. The format is HTML for recent meets — click through to see all events.
