How Wisconsin State Track Qualification Works
Wisconsin has three divisions — Division 1, 2, and 3 — governed by the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA). The state meet is held at Veterans Memorial Stadium Complex on the campus of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse each June.
Athletes qualify for state through regionals → sectionals → state. Regional meets feed into 8 sectional meets per division; sectional winners and event-by-event qualifiers advance to state. WIAA splits the meet by division and gender, with each subset getting its own session and its own results document.
WIAA publishes per-division per-gender state meet results PDFs each year. Below: every state meet, 2022–2025.
